Roman Machin

For as long as anyone can remember, racing has been part of Roman's DNA.

Long before he ever sat in a kart, the soundtrack of his life was engines. As a baby, he made car noises instead of animal sounds. He was fascinated by cars, motorcycles, and anything that moved fast. Even today, you'll often find him walking around humming the sound of engines shifting through the gears.

Racing runs deep in his family. Roman's dad has always loved motorsports, especially drag racing. His grandfather shared that passion, owning an auto parts store and spending years following NASCAR and drag racing. Together, they decided it was time to get Roman behind the wheel of a kart when he was just five years old.

In 2021, they found a Bambino kart, strapped him in, started the engine, and instantly knew they had found something special. The very next day, Roman was testing at AMR Motorplex, the track he still calls home. From that moment on, there was no turning back.

What started as a fun introduction to racing quickly became a passion. Roman eats, sleeps, and breathes motorsports. The feeling he gets when he's on track is hard to describe. Everything else fades away, and for those few minutes, it's just him, the kart, and the track. It's where he feels most at home, where he pushes himself to be better, and where he chases the one thing every racer wants: the top step of the podium.

From the very beginning, the dream has been Formula 1.

Years later, nothing has changed. Roman continues to pursue that goal with the same excitement he had the first time he rolled onto the track at five years old. Every lap, every race, and every challenge is another step toward making that dream a reality.

The journey is just getting started.
